Coca-Cola Is Launching Two New Flavors in 2027

Coca-Cola is already making plans for our refrigerators in 2027. The company has announced two new Coca-Cola flavors for next year, and both are putting a fruity spin on the classic soda.

Coca-Cola Cherry Lime will arrive first, followed by a Strawberry Float flavor that sounds a little more like something we'd order at an old-fashioned soda fountain.

And those aren't the only new Coca-Cola drinks headed our way.

Coca-Cola Cherry Lime Is Coming in February

Cherry Coke has been around for decades, but Coca-Cola is giving the familiar flavor a citrusy addition. When it launches in February 2027, Coca-Cola Cherry Lime will combine the classic cherry flavor with a bright lime twist.

If that sounds like something you'd order from a soda fountain with a handful of actual cherries and a lime wedge floating around in the glass, we can see where they were going with this.

The new flavor will be available in both regular and Zero Sugar varieties.

Coca-Cola Strawberry Float Arrives in the Summer

Once summer rolls around, things will get a little bit creamier. Coca-Cola Strawberry Float will combine Coke with strawberry and creamy vanilla flavors. Coca-Cola describes the combination as nostalgic, and it's easy to see why.

Strawberry, vanilla, and Coke sound suspiciously close to something that should arrive with a scoop of ice cream and a straw. The new flavor is scheduled to launch in summer 2027, with both regular and Zero Sugar versions available.

Coca-Cola Is Also Experimenting With Prebiotic Soda

New flavors aren't the only thing Coca-Cola is working on. The company is also testing a Coca-Cola prebiotic soda, along with prebiotic versions of Sprite Zero Sugar and Fresca. Each drink will have six grams of prebiotic fiber and zero sugar.

The test is set to begin this month in parts of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Coca-Cola says it’ll use the regional rollout to see how consumers respond before deciding what comes next.

Several Other Coca-Cola Brands Have Something New Coming

Coca-Cola's 2027 plans extend well beyond Coke itself. Powerade is getting two new Zero Sugar options in January: Watermelon and Lemon Lime.

Mr. Pibb will also have a limited-time Black-Current flavor in the spring. The berry-forward soda will combine blackberry and black currant flavors and have 54 milligrams of caffeine.

Topo Chico Sabores is heading somewhere decidedly more tropical with Pineapple Coconut, expected in February.

And the Core Power protein shake lineup will be getting its first new flavor in nearly a decade. Banana is set to arrive in January in both the 26-gram and 42-gram protein varieties. Strawberry will also join the 26-gram lineup.

And, believe it or not, there’s even more happening in Coca-Cola's enormous drink portfolio in 2027, including a new grape vitaminwater zero sugar formula 100.

Strawberry Float May Be the One to Watch

Strawberry Float is the one that got our attention.

We'll just need to decide whether adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream counts as improving upon Coca-Cola's recipe or completely missing the point.
