Jack in the Box is celebrating Halloween with The Simpsons, bringing some of the show's most iconic foods into the real world for a limited time. Naturally, there's a Krusty Burger.

We can also enjoy some pink doughnuts and a collection of glow-in-the-dark cups we never knew we needed.

The Krusty Burger Is Finally Real

Let's address the important matter first. Jack in the Box has created its own Krusty Burger of Terror, complete with:

• Seasoned beef patty

• American cheese

• Lettuce

• Tomato

• Special Halloween sauce

Hungry enough to make Homer proud? It also comes in Double and Triple versions.

The collaboration has a chicken option, too. The Double Chicken Sandwich of Terror comes with:

• Two crispy chicken patties

• Swiss-style cheese

• Lettuce

• Tomato

• Special Halloween sauce

That sauce has its own suitably dramatic name: Spooky Simpsons Sauce. Underneath the branding, it's a smoky barbecue ketchup.

Homer Would Head Straight for Dessert

We know exactly which part of this menu Homer Simpson would order first. The Forbidden D'oh!nut Holes have turned his famous pink doughnut obsession into bite-sized obsessions. The doughnut holes are warm, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, and topped with pink icing and rainbow sprinkles.

There's a deeper Treehouse of Horror joke hiding here, too. The treat references the classic story in which Homer trades his soul for a doughnut, and even the packaging gets involved with imagery from the episode.

Fortunately, Jack in the Box only requires our money, a much easier transaction.

Dinner Comes With a Collectible

The biggest option on the Halloween menu is the Munchie Meal of Horror. It bundles either the Double Krusty Burger of Terror or Double Chicken Sandwich of Terror with curly fries, a pair of tacos, and a beverage.

But, the food isn't the only reason Simpsons fans may be ordering one. Six different Treehouse of Horror cups were created for the promotion, and one cup comes with every meal while they're available. The characters appearing in the designs include:

• Krusty

• Marge

• Hugo

• Kang

• Kodos

The cups also glow in the dark.

Nothing makes a completely rational adult say, “Well, I suppose I need another combo meal,” quite like discovering there are six collectible cups at stake.

Even the Box Has Easter Eggs

Jack in the Box didn't stop at putting familiar names on burgers. The restaurant created special packaging for the collaboration, including a Munchie Meal box packed with nods to previous Treehouse of Horror episodes.

The burger buns were customized for the promotion, too, taking inspiration from the ones seen in The Simpsons.

So, this isn't just a themed sauce and a character printed on a wrapper. There are tiny Springfield details tucked into the whole thing, giving longtime fans something to inspect after the fries mysteriously disappear.

Springfield Won't Be Here Forever

The Halloween takeover began September 10th at participating Jack in the Box restaurants and is only around for a limited time.

After decades of watching Homer make questionable decisions in pursuit of food, getting our own hands on our own Krusty Burger seems long overdue.
